Ken R is correct.

In fact, nowhere in Scripture is the Bible called "The Word of God". That is a title reserved for Christ. Those who seek to replace the Living Christ with paper and ink are practicing idolotry.

David if you read John further:

1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. - Jesus

14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

It is Jesus that is proclaimed to be THE Word of God. As Christians we need to be mindful that Jesus himself IS the Word made flesh. That was the point I was trying to make in my previous post.

So, the next time you think about attacking our ministry because we stand up for the Bible, you may be attacking the one that God is showing the miracle of a cure for AIDS.

I have a problem with anyone claiming that they "stand up for the Bible". Not that I am saying that the Bible has no validity mind you. But the Bible is not God. Nor does the Bible claim to be. Why must they claim the Bible first as inerrant before professing Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and THE Word of God?

This is a problem I have been having more and more with fundamentalists and conservative evangelicals.

Not yet, John. He claims that God is going to cure him in a miraculous way that will trigger a great revival across the nation with him at the forefront of it.

I thought that Hartline had repeatedly claimed that God had already cured Hartline of his HIV infection.
