Regardless of whether the shooter is gay, the right-wing machine will still milk this incident to whip up fear of &quot;Christian persecution&quot; and to raise more money for projects that will ultimately target gays.

However, if the shooter is not gay, I still predict that the Watchmen on the Walls will somehow find a connection between the gay community and these shootings.  I&#039;m sure Scott Lively will use the events to claim that &quot;the world hates Christians, and the leading haters of Christians are gays.  So, it&#039;s another example of what the world will be like if they&#039;re in charge.  That&#039;s why we need to stop them.&quot;
