		<description>The segment with Mr. Stark brought home how misinformation impacts a gay person&#039;s loved ones. Mr. Stark simply did not have all the facts. His concern for his son&#039;s future is admirable, but he is assuming things that simply are not guaranteed. Just as being straight doesn&#039;t guarantee that you will be happy and long-lived, neither does being gay mean one will live miserably and die young. Life is full of choices, and both gays and straights are capable of choosing poorly. But they are also both capable of choosing wisely. As the clip points out, informed choice is the place to begin. I can&#039;t begin to imagine what my own life would be like now if I had been able to make choices that were based on reality rather than motivated by fear, shame and guilt.</description>
