And the answer is (drum roll, please): Because they have nothing else to say about it and, more importantly,

Because “unchanged” homosexuals do not spend their lifetimes in celibacy — Christian or not. Celibacy is truly not a helpful deal to offer most of humanity unless it is presented to the 1% or so truly asexuals in existence.

So..with no fixative and no shut down of sexual drive that truly works, there is nothing to offer, but that doesn’t cease the talking because talking feels right and camoflagues the unreality of the elusive “hope for change”.

The talk titled “The Condition of Male Homosexuality” is a plenary session for all conference goers, not a breakout session. In other words, everybody goes to it. It’s followed by another talk, “The Condition of Female Homosexuality.”

Maybe I’m humor challenged tonight, or maybe it’s late and I’m just plain tired. Were you trying to make a point?

How many steps does one have to go through to come out straight on the other end of one of these conferences?

Maybe if she goes to enough of these snake oil seminars they’ll teach her how to become a straight male.

Then she can maintain the comfort of her “opposite-sex only” morals and convictions while still being able to sleep with women without guilt.

It’s a win/win!
