The sex clubs in these cities are pretty well known. Many advertise in the gay media.

I am equivocal about closing them though because I think that would shift the activity to far less safe places like parks.

i think there are other considerations also. i would see credibility in barber and labarbera’s statements if they were consistent.

I know of several places where heterosexuals go to “swing.” hell pornos are made about them. also, there are several online sites featuring amateur heterosexuals having group sex.

why are they given a pass? because this mea culpa by the anti-gay industry is a tactic to take attention away from their public tongue lashing over this incident.

let’s not give them total credibility on the matter.

It’s far more likely that it’s being passed in the heavily used local gyms than in the few relatively lightly used sex clubs in SF. And I don’t say this to denigrate the gyms: Even the most diligent gyms don’t have staffers going around with disinfectant to every bar, bench and locker room stool between users.

SF may not have “bathhouses” per se, but it has at least two sex clubs that I can think of off the top of my head. Barber does in fact say “bathhouses and sex clubs,” in his quote, so, um, well I think you might just’ve missed the boat on this one.
