And in other news, Hutcherson's daughter is monitoring the meetings of the Gay-Straight alliance at that school. Anyone doubt that she's reporting the names of those who attend to her father, and telling him exactly what is said in those meetings, and by whom?

And if some kids just don't go to those meetings because they don't want Hutcherson knowing they're gay, or gay supportive...so much the better...

David asks:

"The teacher who questioned Hutcherson was reprimanded? Why?"

Well, teachers are expected to set the example and be polite to the schools guest speakers.

Later, of course, they are free to storm the principal's office and demand to know why such a reprobate was asked to speak in the first place.

Apparently, they did just this when Hutcherson spoke before, and were assured he wouldn't be invited again. Yet he was.

The principal can't find fault with the teachers for violating the rules of decorum, when he failed to respect the promise he made not to invite Hutcherson again during their prior meeting.

What else could they do given the circumstances, since waiting and talking to the Principal in private later was to no avail the first time he appeared?

The principal needs a good talking to when it comes to being polite (not insulting) to the gays and lesbians and their allies at the school by bringing a totally inappropriate speaker to the school. He doesn't need to be reprimanding teachers who protest his breaking his previous promise to them.

I am definitely not in favor of ANYONE being threatened and what I am about to say has nothing to do with that sort of thing, but it always amazes me when folks like Hutcherson act in hateful and homophobic ways and then expect not to be thought of as prejudice.
