Being gay is a sin in my law , but its not for you to judge, thats my job, your job is to love your naghber as you love yourself and love your enermys as christ loved and died for all you siners in my name, your job is to show my way. thoughs that judge others will also be judged, some think there way is right in there oun eyes but it leeds them to hell, my son is the way the trouth and the life who are you, jamaica is sining against me , repent now in the son the ghost and and the farther, some will turn there back and face hell, i ask you not to follow them they made there choice. WELL,I DONT AGREE WITH PEOPLE OF THE SAME SEX HAVING RELATIONSHIPS,HOWEVER I THING WE NEED T SEPERATE RELIGEON FROM THIS ISSUE BECAUSE SOME OF WHO PREACHING AGAINST HOMOSEXUALLITY IS DOING WORST THAN JUCKING BATTY,AM A VERY RELIGEOUS PERSON AD AM SCARED OF THE PREACHERS NOW A DAYS AND THE SISTERS IN THE CHURCHES AND BROTHERS.sO PLEASE OMITT CHRISTANITY AND THE PREACHING.

just go to the united state we don’t want people like this individual in our country. would you accept a child molester for who he is ? you wouldn’t. then your going to say that that no the same thing, but in bought of these example, the individual are going against nature. when we have a society that everybody does what they want that the end of our society. if you can’t change go where they would accept you but not in jamaica !!!!!!!!!! we’re god bless !!!!!!1 and god doesn’t like the act along with other sinful acts. Such a disturbing article, but thanks for sharing it. It really puts the struggle I face here in Blue State America into sharp perspective.

Sadly, this attitude isn’t confined to Jamaica. One need only put it into another context to see the sickness of it. “But officer, she was wearing a miniskirt and walking alone. I basically *had* to rape her.”

Few people are born into homes that are not religious. Atheists, agnostics…are rarer. And some choose to be after their respective religious communities hold no passion for them.
In this case, where a gay person knows who they are, and their feelings but are blackmailed into believing or denying their identity, can a church of ANY kind, call itself or believe that it’s outreach is sincere?
A man is in hiding from a MOB. Threats to one’s life, family, profession are urgent issues for a gay person, yet how can a true Christian say that a gay person, or ANY person’s conversion is in itself real and a commitment that is willing?

Why would Christians consider such circumstances that of a person fully converted for THEIR own reasons?

This is why I say that the choice before a gay person are between a rock and a hard place. There isn’t much difference between trusting the mob, or trusting the sincerity of the pastor he’s submitting himself to.
If this gay man refuses the help of this pastor or can’t commit fully to this pastor’s disciplines…what then.
Throw him to the mob?

These are self appointed middlemen to God. The privacy between an individual and God is seriously compromised in these situations.
Gay men and women have lived with who they are longer than those straight people who don’t care to know them at all.
And they never really will know a gay person as long as the aim and agenda is to not have that gay person there.
God and the gay person knows who is who. That pastors like this don’t want or care to, is saying something.
And no matter how many opportunities there are, the assumption that a gay person and God are divided of one another is more than a note of arrogance.
Anyone that supports conversion from being gay, knows the mob is right there or a deritive of the mob. Right outside the door anytime, anywhere.
I have to ask each and everyone who supports anti gay conversion:

‘how can threat on any level be considered God’s will to those desperate to survive and live their own way they were made?’

I’ve asked…still waiting for the answer.
