In contrast, many internet posts are filled with excess verbiage, wander around aimlessly and when you get to the end you ask, "what was the point?" So I read this letter with my usual low expectations. First, a clear and concise reminder of the previous e-mail which gets directly to the point, the murder of gay men. My attention perks up. Then a concise description of the situation where clear examples are given. I'm reminded of a blacksmith shaping molten steel into a sword, each stroke lands with precision in forming the point. "...linking your name and logo to music that calls for murdering gay men and women?" the letter ends. The sharpened point is driven directly to the heart of the matter. I tell you, I have to admire writing like this.
