Actually, is &quot;gay&quot; the #1 insult in America?  I read the BBC article and it seemed the statistic is based on a survey of British schoolteachers.  Am I reading it wrong?</description>

		<description>Not only is &quot;Gay&quot; first on the list, but 8 out of the 11 most commonly used insults are derogatory slang terms for homosexual people. If that doesn&#039;t describe a suspect class, I don&#039;t know how much more evidence one would need.</description>
