Separate is never equal.  I think I&#039;ll have the same rights as everyone else, thanks, and if you want a lesser status and second class citizenship, you go right ahead and select that for yourself.</description>

		<description>Let same sex partners join in a union but not marry.

Marriage is for opposite sex partners.

Same sex partners deserve tax breaks, insurance for partner, etc.

Marriage will not provide anything more than a union can for same sex partners.

Let a union between same sex partners be recocnized by the state as a legal and binding contract.

This will resolve all issues about the Marriage conflict being addressed by prop 8.</description>
