Separate is never equal. I think I’ll have the same rights as everyone else, thanks, and if you want a lesser status and second class citizenship, you go right ahead and select that for yourself.

Let same sex partners join in a union but not marry.

Marriage is for opposite sex partners.

Same sex partners deserve tax breaks, insurance for partner, etc.

Marriage will not provide anything more than a union can for same sex partners.

Let a union between same sex partners be recocnized by the state as a legal and binding contract.

This will resolve all issues about the Marriage conflict being addressed by prop 8.

Whatever hapened to freedom of religion. Or did it not include freedom from religion? Guess we HAVE to choose one? I can make one up though right? like the spaghetti monster…
