but WHAT success. there was a day of truth? what exactly does this newsletter say because it would be the first i’ve heard of the events of the 2008 day of truth.

They also have people who blame everything that went wrong in their pathetic lives on the ‘homosexual lifestyle’. So if Stephen Bennett was promiscuous, did drugs and all that sort of thing, it wasn’t his fault, the ‘homosexual lifestyle’ made him do it. Funny how so many others aren’t forced to do that same thing. If I ever screw up my life, I’m joining them, because I can blame all my troubles on something else /sarcasm

Hi Joel…Exodus doesn’t consult gay people who are happy with being gay or who haven’t had any ambiguity about it. To a one, nearly ALL of the people they present as post or ex gay, all apparently were the unhappiest, barely survived, ex whores anyone ever could find.
They fit every stereotypical profile that Exodus has of gay people…at least they THINK they do.

Therefore…how WOULD they know what a happy gay person who didn’t ‘struggle’ with their orientation is like?
Because apparently ALL gay people are the same…or will be.

Exodus is crowing about the success of Day of Truth.
They kill me talking about reaching out with ‘alternatives’ to homosexuality.
Their newsletter is so arrogant. First they assume a youngsters is struggling with homosexuality.
They also are asserting their message is an alternative, rather than something used and abused for decades and decades. Theirs isn’t a new message, or even a RENEWED message.
The alternative approach to homosexuality is being demonstrated by GSA’s and GLSEN and PFLAG, the alternative message is ACCEPTANCE.

The other offense, as you all well know, is asserting that being gay or homosexuality has INEVITABLY bad consequences and no one in their lives has ever been a happy gay person.
Or happy WITH being gay.

Since they NEVER consult gay people on that who ARE…how the hell would THEY know?

I thought it would be quite easy to get some kid you’ve brainwashed with anti-gay propaganda to hand out flyers and disparage his gay classmates. Hate springs eternal, unfortunately. But their silence is a hopeful sign. May the lack of participation become an embarrassment for the bigots at the ADF.
