One note - I just heard on the radio this morning that the ABC affiliate in DC is planning a report on "ex-gay therapy" for its 11 PM broadcast this evening. From the teaser ("It's the most controversial subject in the gay community," "Some say gays can change, others disagree") I am guessing it will not be a fact-based scientific exploration of the "ex-gay" fraud, but rather a "he said/he said" type of piece. I'll try to watch and report.

Jim - You wording, "planned to coincide" suggests that you might be unclear that the symposium was an official symposium of the APA, approved by the APA program committee 7 months ago.
