Well I know this is 2012 and this post is 2008. But My girlfriend and I just came from his courtroom he rejected her plea for a name change shes a transgender pre op and was seeking a more feminine name he refused on his own personal beliefs. This wasted a lot of our time and money. Not to mention was embarrassing. I hope to see him out of his position.

How does a judge who does not know current law or understand the concepts of consent and separation of church and state get to remain a judge?

He is basically stating that because of his personal religious beliefs, he wants to retain the right to tear a child away from his/her family for no other reason except homosexuality. First we have to cater to fundie pharmacists who can’t do their jobs, and now this?

He also implies that the law would protect pedophiles, which is disingenuous at best; propaganda from the bench. This is our legal system?
