You are probably aware, but I will post this anyway. Bob Bland sold Insure.com a couple of years ago and re-established himself under the company Life Quotes with a contract as the life insurance affiliate for GEICO.

Insure.com is an online broker that compares rates of several different life insurance carriers (companies)and purports to comparison shop for life insurance policies that give customers the best rate. There are a number of competitors that gay folks can shop instead of Insure.com. One good choice is SelectQuote which is a very gay friendly company. There are a number of others that are likewise gay friendly. I would suggest gay folks that need life insurance shop with companies which are gay friendly rather than hostile to us.

"about 88% of gay men ... are HIV-negative."

That's a sad and pathetic number. You'd think after 25 or so years we'd be doing better than that.

No surprise, Mr. Bland remains a board member of Illinois Right to Life. As usual, this commitment to petri dish life does not extend to actual human being life - they are fair game.

What blows my mind is that this man doesn't realize that the website of his business isn't the place to vent his frustrations and outrage over the fact that gays can get insurance.
