As for myself, I can only imagine what it would be like to have accepted something, a doctrine, and then be faced with a fact that it is wrong. The most I feel for the anti-gay/ex-gay activists is sorrow; sorrow for how they will feel when they realize that all the time and money they've devoted to this movement was wrong. It's stated over and over in the Bible that one must go through the worst to experience and appreciate the best. We can only pray that these people come to a realization sooner than later.
