I must say that I have recently become disheartened at the way the conservatives deal with freedom. It would appear that they believe that it should be called Feardom. There is so much that has been passing my way from people steal the “No on 8″ from people lawns and the lies that they use. I get a lot of those e-mails passed my way and why is it that when it is about the Republicans they are usually jokes and are about comedy, such as jokes about the pit-bull with lipstick or something funny but when it is about the Democrats it is not jokes but lies sent to strike fear in the minds of the readers. Why has this not been a topic of discussion anywhere? These e-mails are sent as if they are facts and credit people that do not exist and no one really questions them. They work on the premise that a common enemy will bring people together weather it be and African American or a gay couple. It is very sad that the people of this diverse country can not see what is put in front of them as lies or maybe because they are so lazy they do not want to see out the truth!

The lies that the Yes on 8 people are telling need to be exposed once and for all. They are nothing but fabricated fear tactics designed to scare people, without telling the whole story.

Once again I'm so proud to say that I was born in San Diego, but raised in Arizona :-(, and I'm really ecstatic to see that the San Diego Union-Tribune has AGAIN come out AGAINST Prop. 8! Reminds me of the speech that San Diego Mayor, Jerry Sanders, gave several months ago when he changed his position on same-sex marriage and voted in favor of San Diego filing an amicus brief on behalf of the same-sex couples seeking justice with the California Supereme Court. Keep in mind that San Diego is no bastion of liberalism. The Republicans held their convention there a few elections ago and it is home of the infamous Doug Manchester, that contributed $125,000 to Yes on 8! California - Vote "NO" on Prop. 8! Arizona - Vote "NO" on Prop. 102! AGAIN! Florida - Vote "NO" on Amendment 2! Connecticut - Vote "NO" on Question 1!

Hurah for the Union-Trib.

Now I wish they’d be as blunt in their coverage about the school children visiting their teacher’s wedding that it was the parents who initiated the field trip and not the schools as the pro-8 quotes would lead people to believe in their reporting of the event.
