And it's worth mentioning that Indiana is not among the states with a hate-crime law that protects gays or transgendered people. Milt was an intelligent, caring, gentle person who had given a hand to many in need. He was never hard to find in a group - at about 6'8", you could hardly miss him. He was active in his church and had continued to work part-time as an accountant, even at 70. I have been unsettled since word was first broadcast on Mon. Eric was wheelchair bound so not easy to defend himself.
