It is so refreshing to hear my fellow Christians standing up for what is moral and good for ALL people, not just what fits THEIR interpretation of the Bible. It's time for more moderate, liberal, and fair-minded conservatives in Christendom to stand up to show people that Jesus is all about loving people and would always side with people who want to love each other. And also to make the point that just because other "brethren" are good at making a lot of noise in the public arena, they most certainly do NOT represent the majority of people who claim to follow Jesus (or have the sole interpretation of His teachings) as your post of a few days ago about the attitude of Christian Europeans towards gays clearly demonstrates. Go "No on 8"!

Yeah, thanks for showing that there are religious people and people in the service of the Almighty that actually support progress.

I know that gays have been especially harmed by religious people and religion, but the way some speak you'd think none of us religious gays exist at all.

Props to them for taking a stand and showing not all religions are anti-gay bigots. We should all remember that and support them!
