But they didn’t use the word ‘protest’ anywhere. They called it a ‘riot.’

Keep it up folks. The worst thing for the movement at this point would be protest fatigue.

We had a peaceful protest around the state capital as well. About 1000 people showed up. Unfortunately so did the damned russians with their signs and hateful shouts. But police kept them away as we surrounded the capital building with our candles and signs.

As a former active christian i can assure you that the more you ‘shame on you’ them the louder their cries of “HALELUYA, God’s will has been done” will be. Mormons have a pretty straight-forward track record for changing their stances on different issues(polygamy, blacks…)

The only thing this actually does is point the finger so ppl know WHO was the adamant and leading opposer of same-sex marriage.
