You’re wrong. It requres, by logic, that any other such relationships are not worthy of the title. It may not require overt hatred, but it does require ill will toward those who seek the same recognition. Otherwise there would not be such righteous indignation. Of course, the majority of LGBT people fully endorse, support, and give money to such people. First example. Second example. And, most recently: As a Christian — he is a member of the United Church of Christ — Mr. Obama believes that marriage is a sacred union, a blessing from God, and one that is intended for a man and a woman exclusively, according to these supporters and Obama campaign advisers.

The thing is in this case merely not listening won’t do a thing. The way to impact a radio station is to not patronize its advertisers, and to let them (and the station management) know why. Frankly I can’t imagine that we’ll have much impact, but if you feel like writing some letters it can’t hurt.

Dave neglects to mention (naturally) that the California LEGISLATURE passed gay marriage twice.

And discrimination DOES require ill will, no matter how you try to spin it otherwise. You believe you deserve special rights that others don’t.

I judge your character accordingly.

No more morning drive on KRTH for me or anyone in my family (their decision upon hearing of Mr. Byran’s contribution)

He voiced his views – we are voicing ours.

Thank you for pointing out these contributions – the gay community needs to know where to put our hard earned money – and it shouldn’t unknowingly go where it might be used against us.

Believing that marriage is properly between a man and a woman does not require any ill will toward anyone.

The failure to acknowledge this by the leaders of the gay movement is why same-sex marriage exists in only two states (where it was created by judicial fiat), while constitutional amendments against same-sex marriage have spread like wildfire.

I have listened to the oldies station for almost 15 years and I’m torn on this one, but I’m going to follow my instinct and pull away. I can’t support a business that actively discriminates against me.

In addition, KCRW also ran Yes on 8 ads and included a disclaimer that now turns out to be a lie.

Shame on them.
