I want to remind our readers that we are NOT anti-Mormon. We do condemn the hypocrisy, hidden agenda, political machinations, and condescention of the LEADERSHIP of the church, just as we would any other church.

But let’s not have any more blatant anti-Mormon comments. If they stop their anti-gay campaign and their efforts towards theocracy I’ll have nothing negative to say about them.

I have so many gay and lesbian clients trying to clean up the trauma and damage done to them from growing up Mormon. It is truly spiritual abuse and now they have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder coming out and deprogramming themselves from the lies, mean-spiritedness and hate of this church about homosexuality.

And now the rest of use are experiencing the trauma and hate from this church.

There is the platinum rule which I wish they would abide by:

DO UNTO OTHERS AS THEY WANT TO BE DONE UNTO THEM!!!!

Leave us alone. If they don’t want gay marriage, than do have one!!!!

Its been my experience that God has an infinitely twisted sense of humor. I hope every one of them have to “celestially” marry a person of the same gender…and one who has horrible fashion sense and smells of onion bagels.

What I find interesting is that nowhere does it say “special” in any of the rights listed, so here we have an church official recognizing that these are simply rights, not “special rights”, and providing them would not be “special” in any way. Kinda blows that whole theory.
