Students Perform “Live Homosexual Acts” On Kentucky College Campus!

Absolutely shocking!:

On Friday, members of the Murray State Alliance performed live homosexual acts on campus in the Free Speech Zone. Many students were shocked, but not necessarily as the name the event implies. Students performed acts such as reading, studying and hanging out to raise awareness about the lifestyle of gay members of the Murray State campus.

…Anthony Jones, senior from Union City, Tenn., and Murray State Alliance president, said he was happy with how Friday’s event turned out. “We had a fairly good amount of people that stopped and talked with us for a while,” Jones said. Jones said he thinks students came away with a very important message. “Gay people are just as ordinary as anyone else out there,” Jones said. “Gay and lesbian folk do the same thing as anyone else and I think (the event) illustrated that in a very clear way.”

Murray State Alliance plans on holding more Live Homosexual Acts next year.

That is brilliant! I’ve got to try that on my campus!

Absolute genius.

Growing up in the SF bay area, I remember we had some wonderful street theater activists who managed to be really funny AND get their point across.

My favorite was the feminist group Ladies Against Women. Their signature chant: “Mommies, mommies, don’t be commies, stay at home and fold pajammies!!!”.

More, please.

This is one of my favorite awareness events. We did it here at Penn State last year as a part of PRIDE Week. Unfortunately we weren’t in this public a location. But it was still pretty visible; we had a room in the student union building (the HUB) devoted to it.

Here is a suggestion for Live Homosexual Acts…Several kneeling homosexuals repenting and asking God to forgive them….Now, that would be the Supreme act

Timothy Kincaid

November 25th, 2008

But Ben,

I’m just not sure what I’d be repenting for. I’m not going to pray, “Dear God, forgive me that You created my orientation as you did”. What an insult to the Creator that would be.

You may be rather ignorant of the readership here, Ben, but let me assure you that many of those who read or participate here are devout in their faith.

Timothy,

Homosexuality is not a lifestyle pre-determined by genetics or God. If it were, it could not be altered by mere choice.

You cannot “choose” to be brunette, Asian, or tall. But homosexuals, bi-sexuals, pedophiles and the like, can choose to alter their behavior. God gave man free will and it determines the road in life you follow, and the resultant health consequences of those choices. If you have faith in a God Creator, you should realize that fundamental principle.

“The median age of death is less than 50 years for those involved in homosexuality.” (National Institute of Health)

“Homosexuals have been known to change.” (International Journal of Psychiatry, March 1972, p. 119).

“Homosexuals and pedophiles have just made the wrong choice.” Dr. Lorraine Day, an acclaimed surgeon from the University of California who has treated hundreds of homosexuals. She states the majority come from homes where the father figure was either absent or neglectful.

Divine Truth?

More like Satan’s Lies.

A bunch of antiquated quotes that have been summarily disproven years ago != scientific evidence.

September 25th, 2009

Hey there Divine,

I’m curious about some of your claims. For example,

“The median age of death is less than 50 years for those involved in homosexuality.” (National Institute of Health)

Sorry, dearie, but the NIH never said any such thing. Jesus doesn’t like it when you lie.

As for Dr. Day, well let’s just say that her reputation is a bit, ummmm, peculiar. For example, she believes that HIV is spread by mosquitoes and by kissing, that she can heal cancer with homeopathic remedies, and that she can provide you with “1963 U.S. Congressional Record revealing the promotion of homosexuality by the New World Order.”

You should be careful quoting her. People will start to think that you too are a raving loon.

And as for “choice”, well sorry sweetie but one cannot “choose” to be attracted to either the same or the opposite sex. It just doesn’t work that way.

And as for “change”, a recent multi-year study of reorientation ministries revealed that none (ZERO) of the participants ever became what your next door neighbor would think of as heterosexual.

I do hope that you find the opportunity to really do some research on the subject. Because at the moment you seem woefully ignorant and the things that you come here declaring only make you seem like perhaps you live in a trailer park and make meth as a hobby.

Oh, Divine, I just looked at your website.

So I should alter my comments about people thinking that you are a raving loon. Clearly that isn’t a concern of yours.

Timothy said “Because at the moment you seem woefully ignorant and the things that you come here declaring only make you seem like perhaps you live in a trailer park and make meth as a hobby.”.

Now why go and make sweeping negative generalizations about people who live in trailer parks? You don’t like it when people assume there is a gay lifestyle – no different with trailer park dwellers.

That made me chuckle. Basically, my partner said the same thing when he scolded me about a month ago for this comment I made here at BTB on a post concerning a video clip of super loon, Janet Porter: “I’ve seen/heard Janet before. The thing I always notice is her rough-around-the-edges demeanor. The term that comes to mind is “trailer trash.””

You and my partner are correct, of course.

I know Divine Truth is long gone, but a few other claims are disputable:

You cannot “choose” to be brunette,
L’Oreal and Clairol would beg to differ.

In my college days I choose to be a redhead, brunette and a bleach blonde. Regretfully on at least one occasion, I was all of them at the same time.

Asian,
don’t be so sure about that..

Plastic Surgery as Racial Surgery

or tall.
Swing and a miss!

Elective surgery to increase height

If we go with Divine’s logic, it’s now okay to discriminate against someone for anything that’s changeable, including their height, weight, breast size, hair color and ethnicity!

Religion, Divine Truth, is also quite changeable, by the way….

What Are Little Boys Made Of?

In this original BTB Investigation, we unveil the tragic story of Kirk Murphy, a four-year-old boy who was treated for “cross-gender disturbance” in 1970 by a young grad student by the name of George Rekers. This story is a stark reminder that there are severe and damaging consequences when therapists try to ensure that boys will be boys.

Slouching Towards Kampala: Uganda’s Deadly Embrace of Hate

When we first reported on three American anti-gay activists traveling to Kampala for a three-day conference, we had no idea that it would be the first report of a long string of events leading to a proposal to institute the death penalty for LGBT people. But that is exactly what happened. In this report, we review our collection of more than 500 posts to tell the story of one nation’s embrace of hatred toward gay people. This report will be updated continuously as events continue to unfold. Check here for the latest updates.

Paul Cameron’s World

In 2005, the Southern Poverty Law Center wrote that “[Paul] Cameron’s ‘science’ echoes Nazi Germany.” What the SPLC didn”t know was Cameron doesn’t just “echo” Nazi Germany. He quoted extensively from one of the Final Solution’s architects. This puts his fascination with quarantines, mandatory tattoos, and extermination being a “plausible idea” in a whole new and deeply disturbing light.
