Those in opposition to gay equality, let alone…marriage equality or perhaps some Christians can take all the offense they want at this silly mess of a video.
It’s out there…off the grid. So what?
It’s not like thousands of churches will suddenly lose their cred, their congregations or their tax exempt status because of this parody.

It’s not like a Christian is going to get beaten to death by a gay person or have their house burned down.

It’s not like all the married Christians out there, will have their marriage annulled by gay voters.

Of COURSE this video would be offensive to all kinds of people. Most of the cast are B-list comedians known for their rowdy acts.

I ON’T CUR!

What I DO care about is conservative media, pundits and Christian advocates out there libeling gay people as if they are terrorists.
Their ads already scared people into thinking children and schools and churches and marriage were threatened.
You’d think this video was a training film for Al Quaeda the way people are carrying on.
You’d think those rallies were riots.

I just got accused, on TownHall of harassing, assaulting and hurting Marjorie Chrisofferson. The thread was started by a Maggie Galleghar article on hate against the Mormons.

I only mentioned that I was at the meeting at El Coyote, and didn’t buy MC histrionics to refute anyone exaggerating what happened there, because I WAS there.
But it got turned into something else completely.
I was libeled right before my eyes.

The libel…blood libel that gay people have endured is being lost in the victimhood that Mormons or whoever are claiming.
It’s so stupid and dangerous and the layers of hypocrisy so deep, we may NEVER get through them.

This dinky film is nothing compared to the full page ad taken out in the NYTimes by No Mob Veto.
And what harm it will cause.
I don’t see Mormons or Christians at large suffering whatsoever for their actions.
But those gay couples whose marriage licenses got voided, no sympathy for THEM.

There are more important things that those in video could be doing.
And we can tell them so.
