Carr’s article reads like the rantings of a person overcome by a combination of religion and superstition. It consists of a stream of fallacies and assertions held together by non-sequiturs. It is complete nonsense.
Unfortunately you can imagine that it might sound superficially compelling if shouted from a pulpit…

Firpo’s column didn’t just “appear”.

He’s not merely an obsessive whacko with a web site. The editors of the LA Sentinel, one of the most influential and largest circulation African American papers in the country, think Firpo is a thought-leader and opinion-maker who should be able to publish his filth under their banner.

Wait, the same woman with comments such as:

Why? Because I don’t see why the right to marry should be a priority for me or other black people. Gay marriage? Please. …I wasn’t about to focus my attention on what couldn’t help but feel like a secondary issue.

So, let’s see, gays still don’t have the right to marry, keep their jobs, or adopt, all of which blacks do. Further, they can be killed for just “appearing” gay. And you have the audacity to say one is worse than the other because…?
