I just hope Obama lives TRUE to his promise of fighting for justice and equality for LGBT people!

Warren is a hateful bigot and he is against same sex couples being together even when they are monogamous! When will people like him learn?!?

I have a husband and I have been married for almost 4 years (we’ve been together for 7) and not once have we ever been unfaithful to each other! Does Warren care about that? No, of course not! He only wants to eliminate ALL gay rights! And he does not care one bit that most LGBT people want the same thing from life as anyone else – we are NO different except that the person we love happens to be the same sex! Most LGBT want to find their one true soul mate and spend the rest of their lives together!

I get so tired of people like Warren and others in the Ultra Conservative group who act and talk like gays only want to find as many people as they can to have sex with! It is so demeaning and untrue but they will do ANYTHING they can to spread these lies about us and try to get everyone to believe it!

I hope I am still around to see True Equality!

BTW, Regan don’t worry about those bigots – I think you know what I mean. People like them will never change!

Warren says he controls his impulses to have sex with every beautiful woman he sees. This is a perfect example of power distorting one’s grasp of reality. I would seriously like to know which beautiful women have actually agreed to allow his sweating, corpulent mass to grunt away on top of them without being paid for it. There is a big difference in restraining oneself when one really never has the opportunities.

I appreciate your emotional exhaustion. I share it. I too am hurt by the votes of my neighbors, the advancement of bigotry, and the condescention and dismissiveness of our newly elected leader.

@Timothy: I think the phrase ‘methinks though doth protest too much’ might apply to Mr. Rick. We’re compared to people who commit incest and bestiality so why not do the same to him? Oh, that’s right: because its the right thing to do. Interesting how far that’s gotten us with people like him.

I’m sorry, please don’t take it personally; I’m tired of this fight. I’m emotionally and mentally exhausted. I haven’t had a decent night’s sleep since November 4. I’ve had my rights raped by the people of the state my tax dollars go to support and now the person who was supposed to bring balance back to the country has slit our collective throats. The right thing to do just doesn’t seem to be the right thing anymore.

Seems to me like Warren is “choosing” to be a heterosexual, if that’s what he is.

Anyone who says that being gay is a choice, must be in the closet and therefore choosing to live a straight life…hence the choice ideal.

I know for a fact that I am gay and that it’s NOT a choice and therefore I don’t assume that straight people are “choosing” to be straight. They just are. Just like I am. No CHOICE. No problem.

But those who are “choosing” anything, indicate that there are two choices to begin with. Like we can all “choose” to marry or have sex with the opposite gender that doesn’t make us heterosexual, but it gives us a choice.

Perhaps that’s the choice that Warren has made. Just like Haggard and McGreevey and Craig and on and on and on…they feel that since they can do that, so can everyone else. Please!

What Warren and others like him fail to realize is that most of us have made our peace with our sexuality and have embraced it. And got rid of the closet all together.

Must be tough to be that old and still hiding in the closet…no wonder Warren needs to clutch at religion with a death grip.

It might give us a chance to remember some doozies.

What the hell!?!? What gay people (and he indicates many) talk like this? In fact, since AIDS came on the scene, most gay people would point out this is a dangerous position. I have been in a 16 year monogomous relationship which he has just knocked off in a single statement.

I have been standing up for him recently. Maybe not so much anymore.
