Hopefully, she will be given the services and resources she needs to recover (as much as she can) from this. Let's hope the perpetrators are captured and brought to justice. Karma may deal them a similar fate in prison. If it does, maybe they'll have an inkling of what that type of violence feels like - and possibly cause them to understand the gravity of their actions.
