Welcome to the mobile age! Love it!

On my G1 and my old T-Mobile Wing, BTB was fine except the left and right columns SQUASHED the middle one (where the articles and comments are) into 3-5 word lines making reading a chore. This looks nice.

Um, Jim…is there a way to circumvent this?

I really HATE the way it looks on my iPod touch. Your site was already formatted fine for that and worked very well.

Or maybe it could be turned off for fully feature mobile browsers like mobile Safari? I just want to be able to see ACTUAL BTB on my iPod when I visit, not this yucky grey and blue thing…

That sort of thing may be nice for other mobile browsers, but…

(Gosh, I sound like such an Apple snob…)

It’s a WordPress plugin, which detects a mobile device and automatically creates an alternate web page. It should work just by pointing your mobile browser to boxturtlebulletin.com, just like your PC’s browser.

I take it from your comment that it doesn’t work on Palm Centros?

Is this a download service? An RSS feed? Email newsletter? A mobile optimized webpage? How do I access Box Turtle Bulletin on my Palm Centro (there are other smart phones than just IPhone and Blackberry)?

It took me by surprise but it came up just fine on my mobile unit. At least now I don’t have to scroll through tons of preamble stuff to get to the guts of your URL. I thank you and my thumb thanks you.
