Not just for gays, but for every unmarried couple who wants benefits. People who oppose it are not neccesarily homophobic, they just believe in traditional marriage, and they also oppose these partnership benefits for anybody else. I understand that position, not agree with it. But I think something like this will help gays alot and a increase the chance of more pro-gay laws to pass nationwide. I think it’s great. Not just for gays, but for every unmarried couple who wants benefits.
