OK, how about this.

I'd rather bike to the Vietnamese Market to buy cheap produce and Pocky, then the Mexican Corner Store where they sell coca-cola in glass bottles made from actual sugar (it's imported from Mexico).

I also cannot afford to eat at WholePayCheck. I also can't really afford to eat at Pathmark, Super Fresh, ACME, Giant, Genuardi's, or any other grocery store that issues discount cards. Actually, I can't really afford to eat. My food stamps interview at Philly's welfare department is in two weeks.

But considering all that McDonald's encouraged and influenced to give us the horrific agricultural ('scuse me, agriBUSINESSal) entities we have in America, and considering all they've done to quash ordinary concerned working folk, I would still think a thousand times about eating there, no matter how good they are to the gays.

Rupert Murdoch could start personally funding "The Advocate" and I wouldn't patronize his businesses.

Emily, while the food is good, most of us can't afford to eat at WholePaycheck.
McDonald's, while evil, did help set standards for the fast food industry(things were WAY worse), and they do have some healthier choices on their menu these days. Plus I know two people who payed their way through college with scholarships from being McDonald's employees.

Ugh, it's too bad that NONE of the companies being boycotted are actually companies I enjoy patronizing. McDonalds is evil - watch super size me (their fries take more than 2 months to naturally decompose!) or read fast food nation - pepsi manufactures crap (plus I prefer coke anyway), and Ford is a crappy American car company that should've shrunk its business FAR faster than it did between 1950 and 2008.

I'd rather ride a bike, eat at Wholefoods, and drink an Izze.

But I think calling Pepsi sounds like a good idea, so i think I'll do that.

Please call Pepsi (1-800-433-2652) and let them know you appreciate their commitment to diversity and for supporting gay charities.

Press “O” and a live person answers. Then pass this on.

I called them yesterday and the lady who answered told me that I was the only positive non hateful comment she had received all day. You could actually HEAR her face light up and FEEL her smile over the phone!

Make her day again! Call them now!

Keith,
Actually, you should have driven your new Ford F-150 to Taco Bell or KFC. They're part of the PepsiCo conglomerate. Then, stop at Pizza Hut on the way home for dinner.

Though, one of my New Year's resolutions was to cut way back on my Mountain Dew energy supplements. (I only drink it for the medicinal caffeine I think I need.)

And, I'm getting to like Campbell soups lately.

And I think I have a Gay Agenda manual somewhere. I got it handed to me one time and it was clipped to a packet of condoms and a tube of lube. Plus, I think, it had a sheet with all the hankie codes. You might check your night-stand next to your bed?

I have never really liked McDonald's food, tend to prefer Coke to Pepsi and walk most everywhere. But now, I'm thinking it would be nice to buy a Ford and drive to McDonald's for a Pepsi.

The AFA and similar groups often reference the Gay Agenda. Where did they get their copies? I want one. I must have missed the meeting in which all gay people got together and created the agenda.

The two most referenced items, by these groups, seem to be the Bible and The Gay Agenda. Well, I have several copies of the Bible. (Need several, for each say something a bit different than the previous printing. - I must keep up to date.) But I feel depressingly left out. I’m a gay man without a copy of the Gay Agenda. If you have one, may I borrow it for a while? Maybe I should request a copy from the AFA or their friends. They seem to be the only ones with an agenda.

Why does the AFA's letter to Pepsi say that PFLAG seeks to redefine marriage and family? I thought they tried to help parents cope with having a gay or lesbian child, not to lobby for pro-gay legislation. But then again, I'd be very surprised to learn that a single member of AFA has even been to a PFLAG meeting.

The AFA claimed that Pepsi's response to them was condescending? I'm really lost as to how it can be read that way at all. The AFA and the truth don't seem to get along much...

“Plus, every homosexual organization we know of is overwhelmingly pro-abortion.”

You know, I find it interesting they felt the need to throw that ridiculous statement in there. I wonder if it's a sign that they might be struggling to get support for these boycotts on Equality-supportive businesses unless they throw in Abortion too somehow.
