This is absolutely crazy. Why is this man even still in business. Is it not enough that he has bankrupted two businesses. Now he is firing people because of their sexual orientation. Maybe he should keep them around so that they can teach him how to keep his business out of bankruptcy because clearly he cant do it by himself.

The hotel industry is heavily populated with people of alternative lifestyles. People from all over the world come to America because of how much freedom we have. This guy clearly came here for that freedom but now he is trying to fire people because they are exercising their freedom to choose whom they want to be with. When will we come to a place of true freedom in America

Is this kind of firing so unusual? I know transgender people are fired very frequently, maybe every month and there are many times more gay than trans people. Just curious.

In this day and age, someone being fired simply for their affectional/sexual orientation or gender identity is beyond reprehensible. Hopefully the negative attention will impact the Artee Hotel.

We need Federal protection in the workplace now, more than ever. Hopefully, Obama agrees and congress can push it through!
