But it’s STILL the stupidest and most ridiculous statement yet that someone could blame GAY people for this Suleman woman’s situation.

IVF is the result of mostly heterosexuals not accepting their fertility situation.
Perhaps even an unhealthy obsession with their own DNA.
A confluence of difficulty to adopt, it’s expense and so on is likely another factor.

But here we have FREAKISH extremes in the cases of multiple births or elderly women.
C’MON PEOPLE!
When will the medical establishment vet their own when it comes to fertility doctors complying with their patients wishes, however extreme?!

I’m steaming at this because when I sought a TUBAL LIGATION, prior to ever having children or being married, I was vetted through a months long process and the doctor refused after all that.
HIS personal beliefs ran up against MY decision to NEVER PARENT.

And what’s the oft repeated excuse to deny marriage equality to gay couples?
‘gay people don’t procreate’.

It’s my firm observation that pressure to have babies, the invalidation of those who don’t, likely drove this Suleman woman to such an extreme.
She’s already said she was depressed over not having a baby.
And why she still was AFTER she had six children all under the age of 7, just shows what a mental case she was.
And a crafty one at that. She’s been gaming EVERYONE from the beginning.

And a doctor STUFFING her womb like that is SO irresponsible!

Women DO get post partum depression, and sometimes psychosis. So her mental condition AFTER these initially healthy births is still a major concern.

My God…
I have lesbian friends who adopted AND had artificial insemination from willing donors.
These aren’t infertility issues, and a SINGLE embryo implant is enough.

And having a biological child means less likelihood of the state or hostile second parent families arbitrarily taking your child from you. Gay people have better interests for having a child that way.

But infertile women run the risk of multiple births and are pressured to make the tough decision about discarding or aborting some embryos.

What a monster this has become. I’m not saying that IVF isn’t a wonderful option.
But if I had to go through a mental health check to NOT be a parent, Suleman’s doctor should have dealt with HER mental state, the material and physical situation this woman had in bringing these children into the world.
And clearly, HE didn’t do that on an obviously sociopathically disturbed woman.

And now there is word he implanted quads in a 49 year old who requires MONTHS of bed rest in a county hospital and she has no money for the bill.

Procreation certainly isn’t a PROBLEM in our society and those of us who DON’T naturally procreate shouldn’t bear a stigma for it.
It’s not the procreation stupid, it’s the resources to sustain too MUCH of it!
