I think mcewen is right. It'll be back in a few months when the controversey dies down. Didn't that happen with Cohen?

I find it odd that the left it at all. By listing the author's name, the name of the post and the year, they are essentially advertising for Lively. It invites you to google it as if it isn't available due to a technical glitch.

So, I would disagree that this is an improvement at all over having an active link that worked. As far as I can see, it is the same.

Exodus is truely hopeless, and despite any attempts on outsiders to suggest improvements, they will never be able to redeem themselves. They have done too much harm to too many people and like a sociopath, they show no concern.

It may "pop" up again on another bit of work by Exodus. Other religious right groups (i.e. the Family Research Council) have a habit of taking "studies" off of their webpages on the excuse that the information is outdated and then offering these same studies up in repackaged forms.

The thing that's most ironic about this is that evangelical Christians of Exodus's brand are OBSESSED with reaching out and being friendly to the Jewish people. They do it because in order for their savior to make his next appearance there's the little problem of scriptures that we Jews wrote and hold dear first becoming fulfilled. So they befriend us, become fierce advocates of Israel (hard-line and without compromise of course), and pretend that they won't be waving goodbye from an ascending cloud during the rapture as we (the unconverted) stay below to endure hell on earth.

If they think that supporting Holocaust revisionism of ANY sort is a way to get into our good graces, they have another thing coming. It doesn't matter if they still say 6 million Jews died while "only" saying that gays caused it to happen instead of human evil. If one fact can be "shaded" to fit an agenda, the door flies wide open to consider other facts null. The truths of the Shoah should never be left to ambiguity.
