		<description>You&#039;d think that if the HRC actually WAS the most powerful lobbying group in the world that it wouldn&#039;t be such a struggle to get legislators to do the right thing on gay civil rights issues. They&#039;d be under too much pressure not to. Sadly, that&#039;s not the case (yet).   

If only the HRC (and other gay rights organizations) had as much power in the real world as they do in the fevered imaginations of the anti-gay haters.</description>
