"Minister Nsaba Buturo obviously feels pleased that Uganda chooses to ignore those declared human rights.

Are there any others he wants to ignore?
"

The Un also passed a binding resolution of 'blasphemy of religion'. From what i understood... extremists(and consequentially religious ppl) have the right not to be offended. Somehow i believe that you value something else over this UN declared human right.

I guess the question might equally apply to you since the UN seems to be THE authority on human rights. Are there any other you want to ignore?

If you have to lie for your cause then you are an extremist. If you chase down people in the street, if the mere accusation of a thing without proof is sufficient to get you jailed, beaten and killed then you are an extremist. I'd be lying if I said otherwise.

With regard to only talking to countries that agree with you, my country did that for the last eight years to our detriment and the whole world's. Too bad they can't learn from our mistake.

In fact, we have EVERY RIGHT to call people like him names or call them extremists.

Those 'every rights' are called HUMAN RIGHTS. They are guaranteed under the UN Charter -- as Australia found out, to its ever-lasting shame.

Criminalisation of homosexuality is against human rights: Toonen v. Australia.

We feel very ashamed that our nation was the one found guilty. Of all nations. For all time.

We are, however, also proud that it was an Australian that took that case forward in the first place.

Minister Nsaba Buturo obviously feels pleased that Uganda chooses to ignore those declared human rights.

Are there any others he wants to ignore?

(rhetorical question)
