These people are nothing but cowards and bullies. First they treat any group of people they hate like trash, then when those people fight back, they clench their bibles and US flags and scream victim.

That school in Anytown USA could use a little integration. All kids are white; all teachers have tight hair, wear long skirts and walk in high heels all day long.

Hope nobody gets caught chewing gum. It's detention for the first offense and Hell for the second.

Absolutely freaking grotesque.......while it's not as up front psychopathic as the WBC, it's still very insidious the way it tries to pretend that the "Christians" are the ones who are the victims. How dare they be denied the chance to bully & hurl hate at others.

This video somohow reminded my of Pink Floyd's the Wall, I don't know if that was intentional.

Anyway... scary stuff, the worst thing is that if you share some pressumptions it may actuallly convince you. Here in Mexico I know a lot of smart, otherwise reflective, people who would absolutly bite this bait. Back in the day (before I started to do my research) maybe even I would have believe some of this (yep, embarassing, I know).

Jim, I need your point by point analysis on this, in case some of my fellow thomistic philosophers watch this video and start using it to further their argument.

Wowzers. I see why SLPC says they're a hate group.

I recall there being a huge brouha when Kirk and Madsen published it back in whenever. That book fractured the community and generated a small "civil war."

Of course, we're much scarier when we're one single monstrous entity, all rigidly following our Radical Homosexual Agenda (3d ed., publ. Gay Mafia Press, San Francisco) script.

This is far worse than the NOM Gathering Storm Ad--this is really frightening.

I e-mailed Dave Smith to ask him why the comments are disabled. He said it was because of the "hateful intolerance of gay activists." I responded by saying that Dare To Stand itself is an act of hateful intolerance.

Ignorance and bigotry remains strong in the fundamentalist community from generation to generation because many of these people (I have fundamentalist relatives) home school their kids or send them to Christian schools, most of which indoctrinate more than they educate. These children are raised in a cult, basically, and have few opportunities to engage in outside ideas without risking the wrath of their community.

Fundamentalists leaders know that the only way to maintain their power and keep a flock is to breed ignorance and fear--allowing any independent thinking or activity will mean a loss of followers. I feel sorry for my fundamentalist relatives--they never had the chance to learn how to think for themselves, and they'll probably never escape the cult.

as one poster (jim) made the comment about keeping it in the bedroom the same holds true to the folks cought up in the sin of choosing to engage in homosexual activities.Keep it in the bed room and stay the hell away from the schools.Gay is not, has not, nor ever will be, a good choice for anyone to make.Gay it is certainly not somthing to be taught to children as a good choice ,to say gay is ok is like teaching them that reigndeer really can fly.

1. Why doesn't the teacher have duct tape on her mouth? Aren't the eductors supposed to be silent like the students?

2. Those poor kids look like they're scared to death and clinically depressed.

3. You can tell the teacher is a Baptist fundie because she has big hair and a skirt below her knees. (I was taught in fundie high school and fundie college that women must cover their knees because they look like breasts and cause men to sin through the eye-gate.)

This is the same crock-o-crap that I heard 40 years ago but the names have changed from commies to hippies to mothers working outside the home to abortionists to The Gay. I have noted that ignorance, bigotry and stupidity seem to remain constant within the fundie christian community even with the passage of time.
