But I’d like to say to the Dems that you don’t own my vote. I raised thousands for you in the last several years (and not the low thousands). I put you into office to enact Gay rights legislation. If I don’t see action this term on ENDA, I will be starting the ‘why bother’ movement.

I would also be amenable to starting to primary Democrats that don’t lead on Gay rights issues. Nancy Pelosi, why aren’t you leading? Maybe someone in SF should run against HER on Gay rights issues.

Its hard to blame Obama for backpedalling on DADT repeal when the Human Rights Campaign’s Treasurer PUBLICALLY signed off on a delay in repeal. Thanks HRC for hurting Gay rights.

Does Obama actually believe that he practically won the Presidency of the United States of America on a landslide by pandering to the religious, conservative, right wing voter?

He and the Democrats won their majorities based on their promises of “Change You Can Believe In!”

So, based on the promised platform they ran on, they won! Done deal!

So, what are you waiting for?!

We have proved to the Democratic party they can treat us LGBT folks like shit, and we still vote for them in record numbers. What makes anyone believe it is any different this time?

President Obama has ticked me off enough with his decission to let the war criminals off the hook. He has taken some of Bush’s policies and will continue to use them.

Kicking us LGBT in the teeth is no big deal, they know we will be ready to vote for him again in 2012.

A. It’s not even past 100 days yet, so let’s give him SOME time. (Even though I do believe that that was in his “First Hundred Days” package of promises.)

B. If he doesn’t come through, though, we MUST hold his ass accountable. In an age when marriage equality has been enacted by a legislature, and one of the best pro-equality speeches I’ve heard has been delivered by the governor of one of our biggest states, there is no excuse for not taking decisive action on this relatively small matter of basic fairness.

And I mean really hold him accountable, not the typical “namby-pamby” crap that we play around with–we must make ourselves heard.
