The bomb killed three people, one of whom was four months pregnant at the time and was celebrating her first pregnancy with her husband and two gay friends, one of whom was to have been her child's godfather; of the four only her husband survived. The bomb also injured 79, four of whom had to have limbs amputated. This seems a very fitting day for the House to pass such a bill.
