Tim! Not quite! They saved it from dying by referring it back to the “Rules Committee.” It was obvious that Republicans were going to stall and stall it forever, so moving it to committee saves it from its deadline, it now can be brought back up when lawmakers reconvene in a few weeks. DON’T WORRY FOLKS, ITS NOT OVER UP IN HERE! IL WILL HAVE CIVIL UNIONS THIS YEAR!

There is a very slim chance that there may be a special session in a few weeks due to the budget issue. There is a chance the bill could be brought up for a vote then. This is considered only a slight possibility.
