I’ve said this before, but will again–as a polytheist Witch, if I were to tell someone I was praying for their relationship (and impending marriage) to break up, for the person to be lonely and confused, for the person to lose friends and identity and start from scratch, I’d be accused of cursing them. And the people accusing me of such would be right. So I don’t do it. I certainly wouldn’t do it just because someone disagrees with me.

I don’t even get why someone would do this. A while back, here was a woman in my wife’s gym who fell hard for my wife (I can’t blame her) and kept insulting me and flirting with her. My wife has a hard time understanding when she’s wanted and you have to be really in her face about it, but eventually she understood quite well. That horrible woman actively tried to break us up. But she had an objective, at least–she wanted my wife for herself. What on earth do LaBarbera and them want? How are they satisfied, on the off chance that they manage to convert anyone? I guess they aren’t, which might be why they act like they are never satisfied.

If nothing else, I remain convinced that Peter LaBarbera has one of the best scams going.

Ah and I bemoan the nutters who send me exorcists. I should count my blessings that I am beneath LaBarbera’s notice.

I am saddened by the personal and ugly nature of Peter LaBarbera’s email (though not surprised) even as I laughed at your humourous response.
