		<description>Oh, the New Jersey legislature tends to do the hard social issue stuff in lame duck session.  The December 2007 (or was it 2005?) repeal of the death penalty was done that way.  IIRC Corzine has hinted that lame duck session (i.e. this December) is when they&#039;d get to the gay marriage legalization bill.</description>

		<description>Well, that&#039;s because Corzine was a) never elected to the position of Governor and b) is obviously both corrupt and incompetent.  His position on marriage rights is not nearly as important as the fact that he&#039;s simply not a good governor and has never earned the honor of being on in the eyes of the NJ voters.  If the Democrats were smart, they&#039;d ditch him for a better candidate -- surely there can be found at least one Democrat in New Jersey who could do better than John Corzine.</description>
