Hey, here's an exception right here!

I'm a heterosexual man, married to a lovely woman. I'm also a big-time same-sex marriage supporter (and so is my wife). We understand that marriage rights should be for everyone.

This blog provides some of the best coverage of the issue of same-sex marriage on the internet. I come here for the information and news the blog provides on the issue.

My lack of interest in Twitter is, I suspect, more a function of my age and technical aptitude than my being heterosexual.

very true, friends of mine from college, the same age as me are often baffled by blogs, MySpace, facebook, IM, SMS, and the big one that they still don't quite get: Twitter.

But then again, straight people can flirt at just about any bar, club, restaurant, grocery store, coffee shop, bookstore, and bus stop without anyone batting an eyelash -- and the issues that matter most to them generally get an even amount of attention in the MSM.

I bet a similar study might also show that other minorities, the differently-abled, and other sub-populations are more into social networking, blogs, and other pieces of the digital age.
