Ugh. Gene Simmons was a bit before my time, so I don’t know much about him. But I knew I didn’t like this guy.

He’s in a recent Dr. Pepper commercial, surrounded by three or four scantily-clad women. Not only is he flaunting his heterosexuality, he’s objectifying women.

And now he’s comparing loving, consensual gay relationships to sexually abusing animals.

So disappointing!

I was going to say the same thing. It’s only gay people who “flaunt” their sexuality or “shove it in people’s faces.” Never straight people…

Anyway, I never liked Kiss. They stole their theatrical image and bastardized their look from the (straight but much more gay-friendly) New York Dolls.

Evidently, Gene isn’t gay. He sure had me fooled. Score one for gays. Animals, children and mentally incapacitated people have one thing in common: They can’t give informed consent. Straights (per capita) have more sex with children and animals than gay people do. It’s a fact. I can imagine Gene with Farm animals, but not gays.

Now if a gay man bragged about having sex with 4800 people the anti-gays would be expressing outrage and screaming how this proves gays are abominations and shouldn’t be allowed to be married. Funny how none of them hold up this man as the epitome of heterosexuality.
