If the DNC really withheld support from the Stonewall Dems, then withdrawal from the fund-raiser seems to me like closing the barn door after the horses have fled and the fire has burned down the roof.

Stonewall and HRC supported Obama for too long without precondition; perhaps they are no longer needed now.

I commend the Stonewall Democrats. It is very difficult for a partisan organization to stand up to their party when it comes to a partisan LGBT event.

It shows that this is an organization of gay men and women who find similarities in policy with the Democratic Party rather than just a bunch of partisan Democrats who coincidentally happen to be gay.
