Uganda’s messed up. Why do they hate “homos” so much? But it seems ok in Uganda to kill and rape.

Buturo’s stand is moral if one believes — as Exodus International and the Freedom Federation do — that selected groups of sinners are exempt from any constitutional or human rights other than the right to be arrested, prosecuted, and convicted.

Even if that research isn’t true his stand is morally appalling and reprehensible. It’s not only an attack on homosexuals and their supporters but on freedom of speech and expression. Asking for a change in the law is now a criminal offense? That’s horrifying in and of itself.

If the research claiming that same-sex marriage bans and laws restricting sexual expression/advocacy increase HIV infection rates is true, then Nsaba Buturo’s actions are morally appalling and reprehensible.
