ragarth : You’re full of it. It’s everytime the homophobic attacker is Muslim (which is most of the time throughout Europe) that the press remains silent on that fact and won’t even post a picture. Good thing European gays aren’t that stupid and are beginning to realize the truth.

All I’m saying is there are too many inconsistencies in this story if indeed it was a powerful explosive.

1. A shrapnel bomb goes off next to this guys feet and all it does is makes his ears ring.
2. The same powerful explosive detonates by the starter and he thinks his starting pistol misfired.
3. Three bombs go off in a crowded outdoor stadium there is no panic and the only injury is this one person with shrapnel.

Could this incident have escalated to a panic situation where people got trampled?— yes.
Should this homophobic ________ go to jail?—yes.

With all the incidents of homophobic attacks both in this country and abroad do we really need to pump up a story like this?
What about the three men attacked the Friday before?

This is horribly despicable. It’s a sorry thing to say, but I haven’t seen it stated on any news story I’ve read yet, but what is the suspect’s religion or ethnicity? The fact that nothing is being said leads me to think it was Christian. If he were atheist or Muslim it’d be stated within the first 3 lines.

Joe, I was thinking the same thing. Just what exactly does one need to do in order to cross the line into “terrorism”?? I would think setting off bombs at a public event would get you closer to the line if not over it.
