Yeah.. sure sounds like they had more than "protecting marriage" in mind when they passed that amendment.

why must they 'share the same residence' ?? my married co-worker lives in california and his wife lives in nevada where she is attending school.. but they are still 'married'.
just one example of why domestic partners is not equality.

Once again the true colors are on display.

This isn't about the definition of a word.

This is about being dicks. Period.

I still remember when they were pushing this amendment, the Wisconsin Family Council said it wouldn't affect domestic partnerships. Now that we have them, they are trying to take it away. Back stabbing liers.

I can't wait for our Supreme Court to decide whether the constitutional amendment to ban both civil unions and same-sex marriage was in fact, two questions and therefore, is unconstitutional. I hope they do strike it down. It will be a major blow to WFC. Ha.

Their love, compassion and charity is impressive.

As it their ability to twist the truth.

When you are trying to pass the amendment, proclaim that it's only about marriage and doesn't affect domestic partnerships. When it has been passed, argue that it bans domestic partnerships. What group other than Christian fundamentalists can get away with such outright deception and lying? Why doesn't anyone stand up to these creeps?
