All you have to do is ask her what experience she has of military matters, and what evidence she has for her assertions. That’s all you need to dismiss this ridiculous woman.

PFOX, Maggie Gallagher, her – they all play the same game: if not arguing for ‘tolerance’ for bigots, shouting down the opposition.

Indeed, as commented above – I would love to see her arguments shot to pieces on a daily basis; if so, her public display of stupidity would ensure the repeal of DADT by next Monday.

Oh, so she’s all about the ‘law’ as written.
How dare gay people defy the law by being skilled professionals and serving honorably and bravely, IN SPITE of it.

As if those laws can’t and shouldn’t be changed and never have been.

And she believes it’s better to indulge prejudice, than have a strong and able military force?!

She’s pathetic. Her echo chamber has truly tuned her out of the real world.

Elaine Donnelly may not have served even one day and honourable patriotism in the military, but if she continues to ignore Christ’s command to “lone your neighbour as yourself” she may soon find herself serving an eternity of ignominious anguish in Hell.

For her sake and ours, I hope she achieves enlightenment before that happens. On the other hand, at least if she continues we won’t have to tolerate her in the afterlife.

It might be a good idea if she stopped sucking pickled lemons for breakfast though.

What more poignant image than the bigoted Elaine Donnelly sitting safely behind a desk in Washington next to the picture of an extraordinarily brave young man in combat fatigues serving his country on the battlefield?

If you haven’t heard it, then the Moth podcast (search for it on iTunes) with Daniel Choi telling his story is well worth a listen.

Everyone is entitled to their two minutes, and Elaine Donnelly is getting her two minutes of idiocy in front of the world. What better ally could we have. The more she opens her mouth, the more she comes across as someone who is outdated and out of touch with reality.
