But I Thought that Prop 8 Was Supposed to Stop That

thomasson.gifRandy Thomasson, the wacky spokeman for SaveCalifornia.com has dire predictions:

Randy Thomasson of SaveCalifornia.com tells OneNewsNow that in light of the governor’s signature on SB 572, schools in The Golden State are now a source for homosexual indoctrination.

“Now children are going to be taught to admire the homosexual activist, his entire homosexual/bisexual agenda — even a cross-dressing agenda,” he asserts.

My, oh my. But isn’t that what Prop 8 was supposed to stop?

Remember, it wasn’t about civil rights for same-sex couples, or equality under the law. No, it was about children being told in school that they could grow up to marry either a prince or a princess.

Well, gosh. Now that the Golden State is a source for indoctrination of the entire homosexual/bisexual and cross-dressing agenda, then I guess there’s no reason not to reverse the ban on marriage equality.

This gut is a full fledged idiot. Why do they always think that is what we do. What about them trying to make us be like them. No kind of indoctrination will take place except in his idoitic mind.

WTF is the cross-dressing agenda? Let’s just keep inventing fake ideologies while we’re at it, eh?

I’m not sure how diminishing out of state marriages into mere “domestic partnerships” is really supporting OUR agenda anyway, or how that would lead to teaching about a marriage status that will not exist under this law.

@ Burr, by ‘cross-dressing’ they probably mean trans*.

Interestingly he doesn’t consider lesbians a threat since he says children will “be taught to admire the homosexual activist, his entire homosexual/bisexual agenda — even a cross-dressing agenda”. (Emphasis mine.)

Why is it, though, that teaching children, or anyone, to be tolerant and respectful of others is always described as teaching them to “admire”? Or perhaps Thomasson is afraid children will be taught to admire someone like Alan Turing.

Would someone please explain why so many right-wing figures have publicity photos with such inane smiles?

It’s the smile as “Who just farted? It wasn’t me!”

So Prop 8 was NOT about marriage, it really was about civil rights. Harvey was a civil rights activist, not a marriage or pro cross-dressing advocate.

It is very dangerous to quote a gay man when educating children about civil rights. Only straight, white, non-cross-dressing men should educate children about civil rights. It is only this group that knows what it is like to feel the pain of discrimination and to fight for their rights.

Slouching Towards Kampala: Uganda’s Deadly Embrace of Hate

Paul Cameron’s World

In 2005, the Southern Poverty Law Center wrote that “[Paul] Cameron’s ‘science’ echoes Nazi Germany.” What the SPLC didn”t know was Cameron doesn’t just “echo” Nazi Germany. He quoted extensively from one of the Final Solution’s architects. This puts his fascination with quarantines, mandatory tattoos, and extermination being a “plausible idea” in a whole new and deeply disturbing light.
