On a related topic, I just got an automated phone call taking a poll on Referendum 71. It began by stating that “homosexual activists have succeeded in putting an initiative on the ballot that would give homosexuals all the rights of marriage without calling it marriage”. This, of course, is outright false since it was the anti-gays who put the measure on the ballot. After asking which way I plan to vote, I was then asked how I feel about abortion. After the abortion question, it was which way I will likely vote in state senate elections, and finally if I consider myself a conservative, democrat or moderate. In each case the conservative position was the first choice.

Where is the Republican Party’s outrage over activist judges? Anyone?
