I recall quite clearly the great fear I had while in the service never to let anything slip to medical personnel curious about why I taking HIV tests so often (early 90s, I was hardly sexually active and very paranoid) or chaplains wondering what was on my mind. Sorry, I saw the uniform before I ever saw the cross on their lapels and the closet does wonders to help keep one's mouth shut even though the toll can be costly. Well this brings back memories.
